What I do
Honey-do lists, several small jobs in one visit
One service call instead of six. The most sensible way to use my services.
TV mounting and cable tidying
Into the studs, leveled twice, cables out of sight.
Doors that won't close, latch or stay put
Usually the slab moving. Usually still a one hour fix.
Drywall holes, dents and cracks, patched and painted
Textured to match, so you can't find the repair afterwards.
Furniture assembled and leveled
Anchored to the wall as standard. Cardboard flattened into your bin.
Pictures, mirrors and shelves put up level
Laid out on the floor first, so you approve it before I drill.
Best left to someone else
Anything to do with water lines or drains
Texas licenses that trade separately. Call someone who holds that license.
Anything behind the breaker panel
Same reason. It's a licensed trade and I'm not it.
Air conditioning and heating
Licensed trade. Not my lane.
Gas, of any kind
Not worth anybody's risk. Call the utility or a licensed trade.
Roofs
I don't go up there. Gutters on a single story house are as high as I work.
Second story ladder work
One man, no spotter. The answer is no.

What it costs, before I arrive

The $40 service call plus the first hour at $100.

$25 a quarter hour. Billed in 15 minute blocks, not rounded up.

Walls only, eight foot room. Ceiling and trim extra. Flat price, not hourly.
Make a list before I arrive. An hour holds more than you think.
Materials
Materials are billed at cost. I show you the receipt. I don't mark them up.

Based in Magnolia and working the ring around it. Anything past twenty road miles carries a stated travel charge, shown on the town page before you text.

The business is new. The first 10 jobs are discounted to get it moving. Nothing to sign up for.
Tap it and you get a code. Quote it when you book and the 20 percent comes off the labor. What that covers is listed below.
What the discount covers
- 20 percent comes off the labor: the hourly time, or the flat price if it is a room being painted.
- Materials, the $40 service call and the travel charge past 20 road miles are not discounted. A one hour visit is $120 instead of $140.
- It applies to the first 10 jobs booked under it. After that it stops.
- One per job. It does not combine with any other offer.
- Ask for it when you book. The discount is agreed then, not worked out afterwards.
