Handyman in
Tomball, Texas
Twenty minutes down 249 and I am in Tomball, which puts it comfortably inside the no travel charge line. Old Town is one kind of housing and the newer subdivisions south of 2920 are another, and they call for two different kinds of work.
Inside the 30 minute line, no travel charge
Tomball is inside thirty minutes, so there is no travel charge. First hour is $140, then $100 an hour.
The housing out here
Two distinct groups. Brick ranch homes from the seventies and eighties near the old town, where doors stick and the drywall above doorways cracks as the clay soil moves. Then the newer sections south of 2920, off 249 and Northpointe, where the houses more often need mounting, blinds, assembly and hanging.
Worth knowing
If you are in an older home near Main Street, the honey-do list visit is the one to ask about. In a house of that age there is rarely just one thing wrong. Write the whole list out and I will work down as much of it as the time allows, and the service call is only charged once.
