The housing out here

Clay soil under two different generations of housing. Memorial Northwest, Cypresswood and Northgate Forest run from the seventies through the nineties, and decades of seasonal slab movement show up as interior doors that will not latch, hairline cracks above the doorways and trim that has opened at the joints. Gleannloch Farms and Augusta Pines went in from 1998 onward, so those houses are younger and have moved a good deal less.

Worth knowing

Memorial Northwest and Cypresswood are the older end of Spring, and houses of that age tend to collect the same short list. A few doors that will not latch, cracks over the doorways, a bathroom that could use a grab bar.
