Spring is thirty road miles out from the town center, past the twenty mile line, so a $45 travel charge applies to most of it. Gleannloch Farms, Augusta Pines and Memorial Northwest are the exceptions. They sit on the near side of the line and pay nothing extra. I would rather put that at the top of the page than spring it on you at the door. The housing splits into two ages: the older Klein neighborhoods from the seventies through the nineties, which is when doors stop latching and cracks open over the doorways, and the newer sections that have moved a good deal less.

Memorial Northwest and Cypresswood run from the seventies through the nineties, and houses of that age are where doors stop latching, cracks open above the doorways and trim pulls apart at the joints. Gleannloch Farms and Augusta Pines went in from 1998 onward, so those are younger and have moved a good deal less.

Worth knowing

Memorial Northwest and Cypresswood are the older end of Spring, and houses of that age tend to collect the same short list. A few doors that won't latch, cracks over the doorways, a bathroom that could use a grab bar. Put all of it in one text and I'll clear it in a single visit rather than three.
