Interior painting

One room at a time, priced by the room instead of the hour, so you know the number before I open a can.

What the job involves

  • Furniture moved to the center and covered, floors protected
  • Nail holes filled, cracks taped and the surface prepared before any paint goes on
  • Edges cut in by hand rather than taped and hoped for
  • Two coats as standard
  • Everything moved back and the room left usable the same day

What is not included

  • Exterior painting
  • Ceilings above eight feet, or anything needing scaffold
  • Wallpaper removal, which is priced separately once I've seen it
  • Cabinet refinishing

What it costs

$450 for a standard room, walls only, in an eight foot room. Add $150 to paint the ceiling. Add $150 for trim and doors. Paint at cost with the receipt shown.
