Interior painting
One room at a time, done properly. Painting is the one job here I price by the room rather than the hour, because you should know the number before I open a can.
What the job involves
- Furniture moved to the center and covered, floors protected
- Nail holes filled and sanded, cracks taped, before any paint goes on
- Edges cut in by hand rather than taped and hoped for
- Two coats as standard, because one coat is not a finished room
- Everything moved back and the room left usable the same day
What is not included
- Exterior painting
- Ceilings above eight feet, or anything needing scaffold
- Wallpaper removal, which is priced separately once I have seen it
- Cabinet refinishing
What it costs
$450 for a standard room, walls only, eight foot ceiling. Add $150 for the ceiling. Add $150 for trim and doors. Paint at cost with the receipt shown.
